Finding Chiropractic
Shortly after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Cutler injured himself. His parents referred him to their chiropractor, and he was impressed with how quickly he recovered. The doctor became a mentor and friend to him, instilling in him the depth and truth underlying chiropractic principles.
Excited about what he was discovering, he decided to attend Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, along with his sister who practices in New York. After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1977, he began practicing in northern California and has never looked back. From 1974 -1986 he studied the Directional Non-Force Technique with the founder and developer Dr. Richard Van Rumpt. He has had the opportunity to treat thousands of patients and develop caring connections with many individuals and families over the years, still treating some of the folks he saw as infants.

Outside of the Office
In his free time Dr. Cutler enjoys the beauty of nature and hiking, and swimming . He is an avid drummer since college days, playing African drums and the Hand Pan with fellow musicians. Saturday mornings in the summer you can find him along with fellow drummesr delighting the crowds, playing their Hand Pans at the Point Reyes farmers market.
One of the accomplishments in life he is most proud of is raising his two children, a son and daughter, in Larkspur. His son now has his own family, and Dr. Cutler is a proud grandfather to three young grandsons. His daughter is a practicing attorney in Sacramento.
